Poetry In Prayer

Released Songs
Imadi
The is IMADI - the first song off of the upcoming Album project "Poetry in Prayer".
I dedicate this to the hostages and their families and to every single Jew in the world who may need to hear this right now.
Hashivenu
This is the 2nd Installment off of my upcoming "Poetry in Prayer" album. I originally wrote this song when I was 17 in the forest in Bat Ayin and recently felt like it needed to make its way into the world and very much belongs on this album.
Geshem
I remember asking my dad when I was a kid “why do pray for rain in here (in Manchester, UK) when it’s always rainy anyway?” He said “because we always pray for our family back home and they live in a tiny desert and need rain badly”. We are all Israel. Our prayers have always been for and about her.
Rain symbolizes blessing in Judaism and we could use infinite blessings right now. Praying.
Shalom/Peace of Prayer
I wrote this song almost half my life ago and for some reason 2021 feels the year I needed to let her free. It was initially inspired by the ancient prayer chant* of "Birkhat Kohanim”, the Priestly (Aaronic) Blessing. This prayer is most famously celebrated on the intermediary days of Passover and the Feast of the Tabernacles as hundreds of thousands flock to the western wall, the spot where the priests themselves would bless us with this prayer in temple times.
